ACTRIS-Norway after two years of work

The ACTRIS-Norway project team during the 3rd annual meeting in Lillesand, Norway and at the Birkenes observatory.

The third ACTRIS-Norway annual meeting was held in Lillesand and at the Birkenes observatory on August 26-27, 2024

The meeting was organized by NILU, and participants from NILU, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, and CICERO were present. The goal for day 1 was to work on user journeys and new data products for the new ACTRIS data portal, which will be launched on September 4, 2024. The goal for day 2 was to showcase and demonstrate the Birkenes Observatory as an ACTRIS national facility and learn about advanced atmospheric observatories.

Greetings from day one of ACTRIS-Norway's third annual meeting! Day one was spent on a Hackathon with different user journeys for the ACTRIS Data Portal and VRE in Lillesand.

Day 2 of ACTRIS-Norway's third annual meeting was spent, among other things, with a tour of the Birkenes Observatory, where the team got to know the Birkenes Observatory as a ACTRIS national facility and learned about advanced atmospheric observatories.
